It's the same sentiment. After all, this is LoZ we're talking about. If there's interest to be shown in a woman on the part of the protagonist, it's a girl. |

Debatable. I'll ceed the point, though on the basis that, yes, most of the more childish games follow that theme, given that the protagonist is usually a child (The art for the 2-D games tend to show him as being in his early teens at the oldest) and They usually reserve Tingle for such games (This guy not withstanding) so yes. For example, adult link in OoT, and Twilight Princess Link tend to run into some pretty curvy women. Ilia just seems more like a toned down, more down to earth girl than a child. |

Hm, I'll roll with that. Still, I suppose it depends on what your definition of a child is, and at what age it stops being pedophilia. Can we all agree Tingle is a creep though? I mean really... |

I agree that Tingle is creepy...floating in the Termina sky looking over Link so he can sell him maps over and over and over again... |

Ahahaha! Too bad you can't do that in game...it would be funny to hit Tingle with an arrow and then shoot the balloon. The cut scene would be Tingle just falling to the ground face toward the ground and Super Mario Bros. death music playing. |

Oh that pic is epic. xD I remember when I used to play Majora's mask...Tingle freaked me out even at about 13. Still does now. I mean, what normal 35 year old wears stuff that tight...o.o;;; Plus he has speedo pants - he's a pedo. |

Tingle always bothered me. Something about him just creeped me out. On the topic of timelines, though... I never really delved into them while playing the games, but they still never made any sense to me. Keep in mind, I was about 12 or 13 while I was playing most of them. Timelines have been an issue for plenty of game developers though. Especially if time travel/dimension travel is involved, things just get... ridiculous. There are, and perhaps this will provide an answer to this argument, no longer any rules. Anything can take place after anything, anywhere, in a myriad bunch of universes and subverses and differing realities. |

Right, Precautionary warning Huntress. This thread is over 21 days old. I'd Lock it, but I'd be asking myself for permission to open it again. As much as I agree with you Krisz, supposedly there is a file somewhere detailing it. ((I personally think this is a load of baloney, but believe what you want.)) |
