*reminisces about that time when I totally screwed Zeth and Inuit over at the beginning of Chapter 1*

*reminisces about the time when I was actually in IB*

You know, somewhere in the back of my mind, Cata, I'm still irritated about that...

*hands out cake to everyone*

I choose to reminisce about Cassius falling asleep with Nephie, when he said something gushy, and I was in a very odd mood the day after. Several of my friends inquired as to whether or not I was using illegal substances...

And the cake was yummy ^-^ I wonder if there's still some left in the fridge... *runs to find out*

I feel as if certain people around me are... a little too immersed in this little world I've created.

That being said, I'm experimenting with an IB campaign setting for DnD 4.0

That should be interesting.

Even though 3.0/5 pwns the pants off of 4.0/

I know, but 4.0 is easier to work with. I AM keeping the parts of 3.5 that I like and don't add much complexity (see: alignment and level curve)

Yeah, 4.0 has different exp requirements for levelups.

Oh, right.

I actually like the way they do XP better in 4.0. Each monster has a given XP amount, which is always true. It doesn't change as you go up in levels.

I'm keeping that, but I'm using the old geometric exp requirement system from 3.5.

EDIT: Also, cross-class paragon paths, which means the return of effective prestige classes.

Are you keeping the powers? Because those, in my opinion, were the worst deviations. They made the classes all too alike, took away their individuality.

Can't, that's what makes 4.0 so much simpler in the first place. I could just forgo the RPG route and so something based off 40k...
