Yeah, I know. But posting him straight after the comment about villagers for the prologue - it might have been rather fun to hide a couple of characters from other games in there amongst them.

I don't think anyone could hide Seifer Almasy. Though you're right. I do have Easter-Eggs planned. You'll just have to wait and find out what they are. |

Updating images. Got a little dump here of Zeth Alts. Try as I might, I cannot get his frames to look right. And sadly, no quasi-Knight of St. Jeremy cross for his jacket either. Palette restrictions. I love these. Since I've already commented on dA and Mercury, I'm not going to repeat everything here, but I think the best of the sigs so far are Kent, Shinon, Nephenee, Sephiran, Limstella, Pent, Nino and Canas. My favourite avatars are pretty much the same, but switch Pent for Ewan. |

  Volke, from FE9/10.   Roy, as seen in FE6. Heh, well I suppose my asking this question is rather pointless as far as you're concerned Les, unless you want to expound. So basically, I have these being displayed at three different forums--here, Mercury, and Fire Emblem Universe--and I'm asking the same question/making the same request in all three places: I'd really appreciate it if I could get a list of about five or six to be considered the "best." So if you have a moment it'd be really cool if you could please post a list of five or six of the ones out thus far that you like best. and I'll be your best friend if you describe which aspect(s) make the ones you chose your favourites. I'm wondering about which techniques/themes/looks/etcetera are most appealing and I should implement more often. It was this same sort of mentality that produced the Limstella signature, since at the time the Nephenee, Kent, Sephiran and Tibarn were noted as the favourites, and I borrowed elements from each of them and adapted it to Limstella's colours and apparent attitudes. |

Nice Volke one. Suits him very well, and I love the gold reference. Very appropriate. Interesting little touch, the way you've cropped the top border along the honeycomb shape of the background design.  The Roy one is very nicely done and, again, highly appropriate for him (you're really good at creating backgrounds that suit the character in question, rather than simply looking aesthetically pleasing), but doesn't quite appeal to my personal tastes quite as much (possibly because the colouring and general appearance of Roy himself don't appeal as much, but you can't do anything about that). |

all right, here's a little dump of images from a project I've been working on and off on for a few months now called FE: Lost Ages, or FE6.5. I'm sure some of you recall me talking about it. Zephiel, prince of Bern. Primary protagonist. Yet unclassed, though the Eliwood Lord class seems like it would do fine. Interesting thing though: Ever noticed the similarities between the sword Great Lord Hector wields in his sprites and Exaccus in the King class' sprites?  Murdock, his Oifey. Had a difficult time deciding whether I should break with FE6 and mount him, making him a Great Knight, but in the end decided to stick to canon and keep him a General.  Young Brunya. Personally the head looks a bit large to me, but no matter how I shrink it, it looks fugly. Maybe it's just the way her hair lies that makes her seem to have a large head?  Young Gel, apprentice to Guy. Has feelings for Brunya, who in turn has feelings for Zephiel, making a one direction lover triangle. Sort of. I dunno. Not much of a triangle, just a line.  Older Guy, mentoring Gel.  Gurasu, the younger brother of Glass, now travelling with Guy and his apprentice during his quest to avenge his brother.  Gale, a year out of Bern's Wyvern Military Academy. (Will appear beside a Miledy in her last year of said Academy as a PC and Vaida as a PC to make a Wyvern Rider Triangle rather than a Pegasi Knight Triangle. A young boy Zeiss will make a cameo as an NPC having just been paired with his mount.)  Young Sigune. Had a good backstory until some notes were lost... I'll figure it out again sooner or later.  Ruby.  Kaisuke, a lady pirate who had been hiding the fact that she was female so as to be aboard, until recently when she had garnered a strong enough position in Jake's crew and enough respect for it not to matter any more.  King Desmond, primary antagonist.  Enemy boss Onno.  Older Jake, now captain of the Davros. EDIT: Just realised there's an error near the end of his (his PoV) right eyebrow. Will rectify.  That one maid chick from FE9. Naming her Serenity and using her in place of Anna because I'm a rebel that way.  Eric, between FE7 and 6 appearance. Will most likely appear as an NPC as Zephiel is hiding in Lycia. |

As you know, I've already seen most of these, and I think I've already made as many comments as I am able, so I don't think I have anything useful to add. The only thing I have to say here is that I've had a good look at Brunya and her head doesn't seem to be any bigger in comparison to her body than any of the other female characters. I think it is just her hairstyle that's giving that impression, because it leaves such a large expanse of forehead exposed. |
