The day needs my saving expertise.

It is, although compared to ME2 the combat is a bit sluggish and the sidequests are rather boring. Nonetheless, very good game, if you have the time, I highly suggest playing ME1 first, it adds a lot to the game.

The only thing that really bothered me with ME1 was the number of side quests done in the MAKO tank. On my first play-through, I missed about 50% to 75% of the side quests, and I finished in about 13 hours. Next time I went through, I got almost every side quest, and it ended somewhere around the 33 hours. About 10-15 hours of that were in the MAKO. It can get kinda repetitive. Oh, and the music, or lack thereof. But that didn't really get fixed in ME2, so that's just a small thing.

There IS music, they just go the Broadway route with using it, namely at emotional high and low points.

Other then that, don't expect much. I'm used to hearing atleast a little background music in games. That and I think I lost it after hours upon hours of listen to the "music" that plays when your looking at the galaxy map.

The music at the ending is pure epic though.
