Well since we have more members with a more diverse taste, I thought I'd resurrect the notion of posting desktops just because we can. And no 1337, we don't want to hear about how blue yours is.  Anyways, this is a recreated one that I, er, recreated to fit my new monitor. So it probably looks familiar. It rotates every 15 minutes with a Pelleas and Sephiran variety of the same type, but with Daien and Begnion backgrounds, respectively. I changed my desktop about a week back, but that was like the first time in months that had happened. I can't speak for the rest of you lot, but I HAVE a copy of Windows 7, I'm just too fucking lazy to upgrade. VLC's a pretty cool media player, eh plays lots of file types and doesn't afraid of anything. |

I have Vista. But then why is our interface all gray-and windows 2000ish. Well, forum. I will have you know that the system properties are set to best performance rather than appearance. Gotta save my graphic quality for gaming. ;D Why do you have Vista? Well, forum. I'll have you know that I could get Windows 7 right now. Buuut, I'm getting a new laptop with it on in a month or so, thus meaning there'd be no point to upgrading now. HURRAH. |

My PC still has the same silly yaoi one that my son put on there as a joke a couple of years ago, and which I posted in the last desktop thread. This is my laptop one. It's a monochrome vector, taken from the original FFVII Sephiroth concept art, that someone on Mercury made for me as a birthday present. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v224/dinowoman/sephidesktop.png Oh, and with regard to VLC, I installed it on one of our PCs a few years ago, when someone sent me a load of DVDs that I couldn't read. No... picking a University is important, working on a project to earn me food money is important. Upgrading to a new OS for a few more frames per second is NOT important. Not on a laptop as powerful as mine. |
