I assume most of you know what Mad Libs is (are?) but for anyone who doesn't, allow me to clarify. Mad Libs is a word game. Generally, to play it you buy a small packet which has several short "stories" in it, with certain words replaced by blanks. These blanks are identified by the type of word they should be (noun, verb, proper noun, etc). In multiplayer mode, one person reads a list of the words to be filled in without the context of the story, and the other players supply them. The reader then puts the words into the story and reads it out loud. The result is usually pretty funny. Normally this is played at parties and stuff with all the players close enough to do the whole thing verbally, but I don't think adapting it to a forum will be that hard, although it will take us longer to get a story done. In this case, whoever is reading the story will just post the list of words and then participants will take turns supplying them (in sequence, please). After one story is complete someone else might post a new one. I'm using an old packet I found laying around the house, but if someone else has any they might want to post afterwards, go right ahead. The word blanks are usually pretty self-explanatory. "Person in Room" could in this case just be anyone on the Comm. If the next word to be given is "same [type of word]" (like if it says "noun" then "same noun" but NOT if it just says "noun" "noun") just skip it and supply the next word in line. The first story I have here is A One-Act Survey: Person In Room (Male) Verb Ending In "ING" Noun Number Adjective Noun Noun Adjective Noun Verb Plural Noun Noun Place Noun Number Noun Noun Adjective Plural Noun Same Plural Noun
